Register an individual website

Create an account, sign in, and start a website when you are working alone.

Use this when the website is yours alone. A group follows Register a group website instead.

1. Open nhdwebcentral.org.
2. Click the Register tab under the NHDWebCentral header.
3. Enter your birthdate. If you are younger than 13, add a parent or guardian so they can give permission. They receive an email. If they do not have email, ask your teacher to receive it and print a copy for them to read.
4. After that permission (only when you are under 13), complete the registration form. Every student needs a unique username. A green box means the name is available. A yellow box means you need a different one. Keep the password private, and write the username somewhere only you can see.
5. Sign in with that username and password, then click the gray Sign in button.
6. Click the gray and yellow Start Now button. That opens the website landing page.
7. Write down the site key. The website address is just below it on that page.
